Dark colours are harder for the wood to absorb so brighter outdoor photos generally work better.
Each piece is made by hand and comes sealed and glossed. Slight markings sometimes occur due to the nature of wood and the production process. Markings and small imperfections add to the rustic quality of a piece. I can also send gifts directly to someone with a handwritten card at no extra cost, please ask.
