Description
The subtle but unique markings on plywood mean every print will turn out slightly differently. What makes them so different is what makes them so beautiful. The grain showing through the images and the somewhat distressed effect that can occur creates a personal and truly beautiful piece of rustic wood art. If the picture is very dark it is harder for the wood to absorb the colour, so brighter outdoor photos generally work better.
Each piece takes around 5 days to complete and every single one is printed, sealed and varnished at least twice by hand. Coasters have 3 layers of varnish which are followed up with multiple coatings of water and heat resistant spray to protect them.
